I recently bought Cities In Motion. However, once i start a game (Tutorial, Campagin) it works fine for 30-60 seconds but then the screen freezes and a small portion of the music keeps repeating rapidly. Anyone know what could have caused this?

I run a Sony Laptop with AMD Radeon 3xxx series

Hmm, it's quite rare an application (or game) cause a bluescreen by itself. You may have some overheating problems with your graphics card or hardware malfunctions. Also, be very sure your drivers are not out of date as they are somewhat well known to cause bluescreens :)

OH and also, not sure which card you have, but if it's a 3650, it has 256MB VRAM, right? If so, that's less than the stated reference hardware, so you might also be running out of memory and your drivers can't deal with it smoothly. :/

I'm not sure for my friend here, but i don't think that would be a problem for me as i get no bluescreen. Other then that, the problems are identical. I doubt the card is incompatible otherwise the game wouldn't have started in the first place. As for an exact. I'm using ATI MOBILITY RADEON 3400

You pasted: "Nome do Evento de Problema: BlueScreen" so it is very likely to be so, even if you don't actually get to see the Bluescreen :)
Anyhow, you should post your log_metro.log file that you can find in the "Cities in motion" folder within your user folder, it might give us a clue if something went wrong before the crash happened (hopefully)!

That's a bummer :< I hoped it would give out a hint...
Anyhow, I can't think of anything else but give it a shot by going in the ATI driver configuration (I think that's the Catalyst stuff nowadays?) and manually turn off/override all form of multi sample anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering etc... and additionally set the game settings in the Graphics option screen to minimum. And see if the game will crash after the same amount of time or if it holds longer.

I've fixed it! I'm not sure what fixed it but this is what i did:

* Start the Game
*Went To Graphic Settings
*Turned Anti-Aliasing Off
*Turned Shadows Off
*Turned Anisotropic Filtering Off
*Muted the game (in sound settings) - I did this because the sound kept repeating when the game stops working

I'll fiddle with it to see which feature actually caused the crash itself

Actually, I did. It was the same problem that was preventing my minecraft from working. This is almost a year later so I forgot what the EXACT fix was but i can point you into the right direction -
OpenGL

Try updating the drivers. I have an Intel G45/G43 express, and the game ran at 2fps around big areas. I updated and the fps went to 5-10. I'd still like it if it is faster, but I am getting a computer with Radeon 6450 soon.:)

Also, I don't think an ATI Radeon 3650 is supported.

This has nothing to do with fps, it's to do with freezing ^^
