Hello everybody!
There is a lot of threads with ideas for CiM. That's because the game have huge potential. So, to avoid duplication (which already exist a lot) and to trace the popularity of those ideas I decided to create a space for those ideas in Google Moderator, since a forum is not the best place for it. It's hard to track and read and vote in all ideas.
I got some of the ideas in this forum and I posted my self, just to start the engine. So, if your idea is there with my name that's because I like your idea. I don't want to steal ideas. I think the author of the idea doesn't matter, but if you don't like, tell me and I will remove it from the system.
If your idea is not there is because I didn't see or I didn't like it. If I add an idea I automatically vote on it, so feel free to add yourself.
Before you go there, here are some observations:
1) The system have a really good way to recognize duplicate ideas. So, pay attention in the warnings after posting your idea because duplication is not good.
2) You can reply ideas. Do not use as discussion thread but as improvements to the existing idea or to post links (to help understand the idea) or to put ideas on how to implement that idea.
3) The idea of this is to help the devs to see what is more popular. But keep in mind that they have absolutely nothing to do with it. There is nothing that says they will apply those ideas (in expansion, sequel, DLC, patch or whatever) or that they want to use that as a guide.
4) Pay attention to the category. There are campaign, in-game and map editor improvements.
Known issues is a category specifically to post issues that ALREADY exist and people already know about them. So it's possible to make a priority on the most annoying ones to fix first. If your game crash, there is not the place to put that, because its your particular problem. Use the forum. (Examples of known issue: "Buses running over capacity after breakdown").
5) Don't make questions there. That is what the forum is for.
The only problem is that you need a google account. But you can vote anonymously. The registration assure is only 1 vote per person. I believe is the best system.
So, here you go, have fun
