I have just bought the game and haven't yet played a single minute of it, at first I had a problem with starting the game at all which I fixed with -force-d3d9 on launch options in Steam, but after that when I want to actually start the game, select field, input city name and press "Start" it freezes the load at the beginning and i get "Cities.exe has stopped working" and it just closes the game after that. I have have tried every possible solution I came by on the internet regarding any similar problems and NOTHING! I have been stuck on this for a few hours now and it is really starting to frustrate me, so help would be really appreciated.

P.S everything is up to date Windows, steam etc...

-My computer does meet the requirements
-My drivers are up to date
-I have not installed any mods etc... I have just purchased the game so it is stock as installed.
-Output Log http://pastebin.com/4r0NtnMY
-dxdiag http://pastebin.com/zcMVXPe8
-no crash reports

Like I said the game crashes everytime when I select the map and click "Start" (it starts the load and instantly freezes it and i get the "Cities.exe has stopped working" box )

Thank you in advance

I am having the same exact problem which is disappointing. I chose cities skylines instead of sim city due to the more positive reviews. At this point I'm giving this game and f on the grade scale and wish I had my money back, this problem needs to be resolved.

"I have have tried every possible solution I came by on the internet regarding any similar problems and NOTHING!" ... what are those? Without knowing people (like me) don't know what not to tell you to try again.
You say this is a new install, have you verified you game cache yet? (you probably have)
Also in addition to trying the -force-d3d9 option as noted in various troubleshooting guides (and seen in your posted log - thanks) have you tried forcing a specific resolution along with that with the -screen-height and -screen-width launch parameters (both with the force-d3d9 and without)? How about -force-glcore30 same crash result?
