I did preorder the game via gamersgate. Now I can see the Activation code. But I cannot download it. There is no button - key for that. So where must I go for download and Install...

I just see the instructions to download:

"This is a Steam activation code.
Launch the Steam client and log in to your account
Click the +ADD GAME..." button in the lower left corner of the client and choose Activate a product...
Follow the on-screen instructions to start downloading your game"

So I need a Steam account, then why I did the preorder in gamersgate, and put another step in the way. This is a nonesense, if i did notice that before then I had done the preorder directly in steam. :sad:

Used a key from GamersGate, got this:

"Cities in Motion 2 has not been officially released, and cannot be unlocked at this time. Please check the Steam news to find out the release time. Steam will notify you when the game becomes unlocked."

Well, it makes sense, because on GamersGate you can get the game for £14.95, which is cheaper than Steam's €19.99 I also pre-ordered on GG and I'm now waiting for the unlock

Ive still got 6 hours till it unlocks. What i don't get is its released today 2d april so why is it not unlocked. i have to wait till 6PM GMT +1. :S

The game unlocks later today since Steam (Valve) does not work before 10:00 in the morning, and they will unlock it when they start working, around 7 pm European time.

Yes, if you live in europe and wait for a steam release, you should at least consider the possibility that you won't be able to properly play your game until the next day... just to prevent too much frustration if additional problems show up...

You have to wait till 6 or 7. I've got the same problem.
