The Crane Takes its First Small Steps
To Fourteen-oh-Four
Advice from ReadAARS:
Strike Korea or Manchus
For Greater Glory
Colonies are good,
But no Japanese will leave.
That must come later.
Korea is weak
Japan’s army is stronger
What? Those Ming again?!
Our King fears Manchu
Wants to build up the army
But Ming still protects
Confucians are safe
So let’s look further afield:
Aha! Borneo!
Merchants want to trade
But Mallaca is distant.
Our chances are bad.
Kashiwabara,
The new Imperial son.
Take that, Korea!
Ezochi converted
So on to Okinawa
All pagans must go.
Heavan favours us
Foolish Brunei has no chance.
Forward our soldiers!
Perhaps through marriage
We can ignore Ming’s threats?
My fingers are crossed.

No more forts to siege.

Are the ancestors displeased?

Savages worship demons
