HI guys. I recently got crusader kings.
I read the bohemian beginner's AAR and I think I am doing pretty well (managed to unify ireland on easiest on the first day).

However, I'm still a newbie, so I decided to make this AAR. And the great thing about it? You can choose with me!
the first thing you can choose is the country. The country with the most votes in 2 days' time gets picked. In case of a draw, I shall choose the country alphabetically (so aargau comes before frisia etc.)

Some thing I would like help with.
-how do you post pics?
-If a muslm or pagan country gets picked, where can I download the mod to play it?
-Is there anything else I should know before I start?

I recommend some principality in eastern Byzantium. Maybe Antioch or something. To keep Byzantium from falling into Seljuk hands.

Devine Shadow also has a neat female inheritance mod that he updated for 1.05 but i don't know if on the first try you'd want to have to take a swing at installing that.

The mod doesn't seem to work: every time I start the game, I get a CTD

Hmm. Well, you might not need it for your AAR. (But for future reference, dropping by the thread there and clearing up why might be neat - assuming you ever get bored of vanilla then playing as a pagan or muslim does add a new angle.)
Oh, and for screenshots you try freeware widgets like http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/ or http://www.irfanview.com/

And country... maybe somewhere in Flanders? A count or duke in Poland? Have there been many of Spain?
My vote will be for something Spain (Aragon, Navarre, etc.) but i think any choice can be interesting.

Uhm, you might want to change that to "orthodox or catholic" before you upset any of our eastern friends

As for a nation to choose: I agree with spothisto, a byzantine principality would be nice.

Also, I would like to start in the 1066 campaign, but if I get a majority for another campaign, I will start there.

There have been plenty of Apulian AAR's, so my choice would be :

Austria in 1066

You don't need DivineShadow's Mod (I think you are talking about the female inheritance mod) to do that. You don't even need to give her a brother or nephew, the game will give you an heir automatically when she dies.
