no but if your busy fighting enemies, and haven checked the peace table for a while then he cant really know that it is a forced peace can he?
I disagree it would imply he is retarded. yes, you right if we are playng a game of words and arguments( wich you always seem to do as far as my interaction between me and you goes); but we are in eu2 where SPELLING something for an opponent can be easilly taken as an insult by basically saying "are you noob and i need to remind you the basic rules of engagement?".

it is clear to me that this is an INTENDED foul play ; in such circumstances playing eu2 (winning or loosing) is no fun at all.
when an opponents goes down to the level of raisng irrelevant issues such as the one above(mats), i pitty them , no pun intended.

my point exactlly in post 285; please read it again, i REALLY do not need to elaborate anything else beyond this point on the issues raised by you so far here.some of us preffer playing eu2 and not get "lost" in endless debates, especially after the points have had been clearlly made.
regarding england demands. peace with spain outright and cede 3 provinces to poland and 2 to austria. but he needs peace spain first of all, by that i mean making and reaching a deal with spain first( his dow on spain triggered this whole thing).
and i would like to hear the russian objectives in this war against poland, if any besides helping england , as well as any offers/demands he might have at this time.

This mod gfx is too new for me, and i hardly oriented (besides playing not usual 19", but laptop 15"), so that is more than acceptable to miss chat when i fight 3 countries and rebels and every click is important.

Obviously POL+HAB+SPA would attack you with LT9. So i built up and tried to dow Spain with LT9. Unfortunately England was ready only at 1494, when WE was over.
I dowed Spain, soon stabhitted them, but soon HAB+POL joined. POL had MA over England (i couldn`t imagine that can happen, so didn`t check) and used benefit of that for several month.
Then it was global steamrolling of England. El Gran Capitan tripped the power of cav army, as i lost badly against him pure cav battles, that was big disaster. Some time later Venice dowed Spain and much time later Russia dowed Poland. To this time i was globally stabhitted.
Soon being absolutely leaderless i could kill first El Gran Capitan, and in 1499 i killed von Frundsberg, the best two leaders available for enemies. Poland moved troops to east, and at this time i left south and could recapture some provs back and get kind of comeback.
At this time i got stacked my connection, later it was found it was major decease of vista at laptop, the problems started at friday. I explained that in icq to martmol and Chain, and asked martmol to copy log here (dunno if he did).
Anyway, the conclusion, that despite lost two best leaders of Habsburg, with LT9 they will steamroll you, and France will be lost anyway. Even if they would be dumb very much, with Alba they can do it definetely. Maybe if Venice & Russia fought from the beginning, the situation can be changed.

if you force-peace, then the separate war eng-spa is left like it is. With own result, dealt by this separate war. If you don`t like it, you can`t use force-peace option.
Mats, you are absolutely right.
All peace offers were auto-rejected, using my two months delay option.
Even more, listen carefully - when the peace offer is sent to you, you can`t even check WS. And when one side constantly stabhit another one, how losing side can check WS if they are busy with enemy and rebels from stabhits. That is standard situation of stabhitting.

Regarding the situation, it is very funny to hear that England should make any talks regarding peace, while i kept busy with 3 countries & rebels. Last year i lost 30K infantry army in Lyon, as i forget about it. What the hell should i waste time to chat even i can`t follow the battles ?

-keeping only 45 k home army in england MOSTLLY infantry(pure luck for you that teutons lifted my london siege by "fleeing", teutons were in my alliance with austria could not ban due to vassal status)

-your whole approach on playing england was short term as it comes out by looking at england as of now.

first of all checking war score is a matter OF PRIORITY. there are various ways to do that, and one keeps loosing and including cot he MUST check so.
secondlly, to see warscore at ANY given time, one just has to PAUSE, REJECT offer, and then LOOK. very very easy and anyone with logic would realize that fast. he will argue "i did not want to get stab hit"....but when he is already at -3 with full revolts , please tell me that rejecting an offer and LOOKING at warscore is not something anyone would consider...

mats, upon him constantlly refusing and you entering the war, i DID give him an extra chance since i believed you could make a diffrence( and you did initially as i got 3 stabhits). however upon beating you back (credits to monki as well here)and already having positive warscore on you, i see no POINT in this war continuing as it it and therfore i need to demand peace for the sake of a long term game.
i pruposed initially a nappy for a reason instead of the ongoing christmas mp...that beeing that a long term game will less likelly work if the best nations are subed( checking many previous mp games would confirm that for any "unbelievers"). but if we would have played a nappy, would been only one session, and only war, since all except therion did want/could play today.
and for the record , you never paused yourself and INFORM me that you are going to stab hit me, you simply wanted only to stab hit me... very very biased
besides, looking in the log file , it is intreasting to see england making various comments in general, yet never having the "time" to actually discuss settlement...

hardlly so as long as most players are still up for it. as of yet there is no clear winner(thanks to bankrolling england at least some, she still has huge economic possibility as compared to others, including its superior land tech and the tech speed itself).
so far this game has had real inflation factors at least for the "majors", with everyone having the ability to win or loose. however i just think therion shall be back as england since he proved to be a very relyable and "dedicated" eu2 player, thus a challange to overcome
