Choice algorithm for Feudal Elective

Is there a good reference somewhere on how feudal electors cast their vote ?
Is it My Religion > My Culture > DiploStat and or Prestige ?

When I formed HRE and switched to Elective, half the electors selected a duke in Franconia.
He was not particularily powerful (there was a vassal king for Aquitaine for exemple)

I suspect they didn't like my heir because 1/ Paradox likes to be cruel 2/ I culture switched to French while most of them are still Frankish.

Any insights ?

I'm pretty sure it's mostly based on opinion, although I'm unclear as to whether that would be the elector's current opinion of the candidate, or the opinion the elector is predicted to have of the candidate as a ruler if they're actually elected.

Take this with a grain of salt, but its mostly Religion>Culture>Gender>Dynasty(My dynasty>Ruler children>Ruler dynasty>Others)>Age>Opinion(I presume "opinion if liege" applies, simialar to pretender factions)=Prestige. They do not Like pickingold men or young children.
