I pre-ordered from Chips and Bits (www.cdmag.com) a month ago, and it arrived today.

Too bad for all you suckers that use large scale retailers!

Manual is a bit tiny though...I hope it does the job, as it's even smaller than HoI's.

That shipping does seem a bit high. My order from GoGamer that I placed yesterday was 9.99 for FedEx overnight and that's with 3 games. I'm expecting my copy of Victoria any minute now.

I never thought that C&B's shipping charges were that outrageous. It's only a few bucks if you go Priority Mail.

I had it shipped UPS ground, and it *still* arrived earlier than EB or the other guys, even though it says 7-10 days.

I don't see the problem.

Looking good so far, love the music....unfortunately, I couldn't find a list of songs in the manual. What is the name of the opening theme? I've heard it hundreds of times, but I can't remember what the title is.

Well, let's see...
I have simultaneous orders from EB at the local store, a UPS Red order on Chips and Bits(gogamer listed it as out of stock), and an odere that's a week old from Denmark. Any guesses who gets here first?

Oh, and I have friends to dump the spares with.

I'm a poor fool who ordered from EB, they lied to me twice about the delivery date. Once I found out about the second lie it was to late to get it into the express by Friday. EB has lost a customer forever. I will never ever set foot in one of their stores again.
From now on, if it isn't avaliable at Best Buys, I'll order from Chips and Bits.

Damn, my credit card hasn't been billed yet, and the order summary page on Chips and Bits site doesn't say it has been shipped. This sucks. I've also had a heartbreak earlier today, I heard the two rings on the doorball, ran to the door wagging my tail and barking, but it was a Fed Ex letter to my landlord, not the UPS with Victoria.

Chip and Bits got the game last night and are shipping out orders today. I talked to them twice today...
