Sure, they get group ideas, but individual ideas are always better! (And i'm sure many of you know that the state of Wu take its name from THIS Wu) So, here's my try at making an idea set (Although i think i am terrible at making idea descriptions)

Wu
Traditions
-10% Naval upkeep, +5% Settler chance

  1. Subjugate the South: +1 colonist

One of the main concerns of old Kingdom of Wu was the subjugation of the numerous barbarian tribes and bandit companies, so a loyal settlement could be estabilished there. We can now renew this practice and even take it beyond our shores...

  2. Fire attack tactics: +1 Leader siege/+1 Attrition for enemies (Either one, cannot decide which fits better)

Our ancestors have won many great victories over much superior enemy armies, like the famous battle of the Red Cliffs. We can learn a thing or two from their experience

  3. Naval Expertise: +1 Yearly naval tradition

In the numerous defensive battles our ancestors fought, it was skillful use of ships to relieve a siege or to confuse the enemy. Since those very times, lands of Wu has numerous skillful sailors and captains.

  4. Confucian thinkers: -5% tech cost

Wu kingdom of old used to purposefully attract the brightest minds of the time to its cause. It will certainly benefit our government if we are to follow this tradition.

  5. Developed trade routes: +10% Trade Efficiency

Situated where it is, our capital of Hangzhou is in ideal position for trade. A series of storehouses and shipyards has been built to provide better conditions for our merchants.

  6. River fortifications: +15% Fort defense

Armies of our forefathers had fought many battles, and most of the time they were on the defensive against superior forces. We should build chains of fortresses along the rivers, so the enemy shall never enter our land.

  7. Heirs of Sun Tzu: +1 yearly prestige

The founder of the old Wu kingdom, Sun Quan, claimed to descend from the Sun Tzu, an author of the famous "Art of War". This certainly is a heritage worthy to be proud of.
