Started to play in India Muslim sunni ruler of Lahore i have only one wife she is from the somra kingdom (shia sind) i was able to get enough grace to ask for a imperial marriage, however it stated i wasn't eligible for marriage. I only had one wife and Muslims can take up to 4 wives. So i tested and divorced my wife so i was single then it allowed me to ask for the marriage. Surely as a Muslim ruler you should be able to ask for for a marriage and be eligible if you have space to take another wife.
in these images you can see that if i had one wife it would deny the marriage, but if i divorced it would then allow it. just to make sure i checked with another muslim group in india Delhi empire they couldn't marry if they had a wife.
