China in the Axis is feasible, after all Germany pursued good relations with China for a while. Of course you don't want to see this happening in the majority of games. I would presume if China joins the Axis, then Japan would stay independent as it can't really join any of the others.

On the topic of China, I'd like to see it be much harder to win as Japan. In HOI3, beating China was a cakewalk, while in real life the Japanese couldn't do it over the course of 8 years.

Dito TDB. If they can fix the China war it would be a big improvement for me. In various versions the AI China looses, wins (driving them out of Manchuria and Korea) or there is some fake peace with the surrender of the coast. I don't really know what Japanese war aims were however they didn't achieve them. The need to supply an army in China was a significant reason for their DOW in 1941 so if this can be made to work it would be great. Right up to the end of the war the Chinese had more troops fighting the Chinese than the US or British.

Also I have seen it in many games where Nat China aligns to the Axis, this is playing as various other nations. Can't remember if I have ever seen them join it though.
