This is somewhat inspired by the discussion of Ming and Westernization...
- Scrap the Ming tag, and replace it with a China tag, which will be formable. However, this tag will be special in that it will adopt a dynastic name, similar to how the middle eastern realms in CK2 work. However, rather than be just based on the name of the dynasty (in the case of the Ming, the Zhu) it will have some other determining factor. It could be scripted for tags likely to conquer china (the Manchu tribes will form Qing), it could be randomly generated from a listed of possible names, or it could be user-generated (similar to the set up with a client state). Or all three, at the situation might merit. This will all work best if the devs ever do implement dynamic flags, as well.
- Celestial Empire, factions, all that jazz is associated with the China tag, so that anyone that ends up conquering China will be strongly nudged in the direction of adopting an imperial form of government. Rebalancing will be needed, I'm sure.
Thats all I really have.
