China is way too strong

Interesting observations on China... they are always big loosers in my games, despite my constant feeding of technologies to them. Somehow they just don't catch up.

But 53,000+ VPs and 61,000,000 armies??

China does seem to average about 12K VP in my game...and if you'd got 400M people and unlimited cash, 61M soldiers isn't impossible...

EDIT: I think he meant 6, 1M armies, btw, more then easy for China to do...

I have been arguing for a weakened China for some time.

In this time period, China played perpetual victim, but that won't happen in Victoria, China will always be FAR to strong to deal with, so bad that I try to NEVER have a boarder with them, as it leads to a war with an army that will dwarf any Victoria army I have ever had as ANY power.

This REALLY needs to be addressed, this and the ludicrous partisan matter, otherwise Victoria is a complete wash as a history based game.

In my game China ranks about 12th or 13th. They have an insanely huge military but their industrialization is less than my tiny piece of real estate (Scandinavia) so I think it's not overly skewed. It won the Opium War and gained two provinces from UK in India and just invaded Korea, also it kicked Russia's ass (in conjunction of a concerted Austro-Prussian effort) to make Russia somehow fall to rank 215 out of 216 because of prestige. But right now it's really lagging behind in technology and I just sold it Breech-Loading rifles in 1896. Also the literacy is only around 50-60%.
