China in the 1933 Scenario

The 1933 scenario is awesome so far, but one big glaring mistake in it is Communist China's position in Shaanxi(where it is in game). In 1933 it was still in southeastern China based around Jiangxi. The long march to Shaanxi didn't occur until late 1934.

At this time the KMT and the Chinese Communists were at open war. It's be a neat dynamic to the game if this was included. Fighting the Nationalists in 1933 is intruging in so many ways.

This has also bugged me, I could also point to some documentaries on Youtube. If I could remember its name... History of China I think it was.

While I agree about the incorrect location, I have to ask: Is it important enough to change?

CCIP has been up for adoption by any more active modder for ages...but I guess no one cares enough, so I'll go back to working on it whenever I have the time (aka not anytime soon due to college).

I'm more interested in finishing my CG mod.

Is it important enough to change? This game is claiming to be historical. Thus at start dates for scenarios it should be historically accurate. To say nothing of the Chinese Civil war was in full swing in 33. That'd be fun to have fought out. That you cite something as large scale as the Chinese Civil War, and yes look it up it started way before world war 2, Japan's invasion interrupted it, as unimportant just reeks of ignorance.

Especially as part of the whole "Day of Decision" thing... they have a possible communist coup in Germany...

I am aware of this but the guy who was supposed to take care of China in this scenario left me and never showed up again.
If someone is willing to implement few changes, I would be willing to give it a go.
