So I started my game as the yellow people and set out to conquer everything in sight, yet keeping an eye on my BB.

I was able to diploannex manchu which has the same BB as me, but what about those Buddist and Hinduist countries around?

Can I diploannex them too (you can't DAnnex if you have different religion, can you), after force vassalizing?

China is big. China is rich. China can marry with all except christiants and pagans (meaning free rule over Asian and African countries). China has a plethora of manpower.

And above all else, China is the only asiatic nation which can get muslim techgroup, which is well above chinese techgroup.

So, it's no surprise China can be truly powerful, when ably managed.
