Concerning Algiers, Mali and other potential countries who has extensive mapknowledge due to explorers, we are going to do the following.

1) Load up the 1419 scenario
2) Copy the known provinse list
3) Edit it into the latests save

Concerning my own knowledge of Algiers maps, i save the game just prior to my attack, so i can copy my own known provinses list and edit that into the save.

I propose Naples and others with this problem do something like this, it's an easy way to get rid of the problem.

Daniel are you the genius that goes throu the explorerlist and kills non-pagan explorers? If so please coordinate it with Bob.

I got a question to one of my own rules.

"Provinses of your culture, that you’ve owned for 60 years will become core provinses. They must be of your own religion."

Do you guys read this as e.i. Colonial, Berber and Iberian in Granada case or just Berber and Iberian?

Colonial (aborigin) as well.

I also read the rule that it focus on that you have to own the province for 60 years. For how long the province have had your religion and culture does not matter (as long as it has it when you claim the core).

According to the save the cultures of Portugal are
culture = { type = "aborigin" type = "iberian" }
thus they are mine. No one more and no one less.

For Granada it is
culture = { type = "aborigin" type = "berber" type = "iberian" }
Thus you have 3 cultures.

I guess you mean "aborigin" when you write "colonial".

Okay just checking, and yes i meant aboriginal, and yes you have 60 years to make sure the culture is the right one.

What culture is colonial? What nations/areas got it?
Colonial = Aborigin
About which nations/areas, at least every player nation have Aborigin. No idea about other nations, more than that Sibir does not have Aborigin (I think they have Altai).

EDIT: I think that Hungary and Bohemia has Aborigin as well, since they was/were meant to be player nations.

All of Americas and a large part of Africa + Oceanic area is Pagan and therefore converting them will turn the culture into Aboriginal (colonial culture).

All playernations have this culture, and thus fighting for them is a lot more valuable for all nations, rather than having all of South America Catholic/Iberian as in other scenarios.

Than I think provinces with Aborigin should be also be eligable for cores.

They already are as we all have Aborigin culture.
IIRC there are very few empty spaces, but IMO it should take a colonial city (1000 inhabitants) to get a core, not a mere TP.
Cannot see any reason to make this disctinction. For what purpose do you suggest it?

It's very easy to just occupy the few empty spots there are in Elio's scenarion with TPs, for the exclusive few with early maps. Not at all like taking a province in warfare.
Increasing in the benefits of early maps with cores makes for an even more rigid and uneventful colonial game. Some like to play alone in their own corner though... :p

Like i said, i suggest you do something "like" this. I know you had an explorer, so i didn't say you should do what i did.

YOU will however have to find out what provinses you should retain, or the other version will be applied. So get to work and give Bob a message before tuesday so he has time to make the edits.

Hehe, if you read my AARs you would have understood that there are very few left. It is only Cobjor that can colonise to a substantial extence. I did find two places for TPs the last session but they may well be the two last ones existing outside Siberia.

And I do not understand what cores have to do with a "rigid and uneventful colonial game". Could you please specify.
