Actually, Boris knows the correct way to spell the word "tsar" using the latin alphabet. Not surprising since he is from Russia. The alternative spelling used in English for many years, "czar", is influenced by more Western Slavic pronounciation; but the Cyrillic letter used for the word is actually "tseh", pronounced much like putting an "s" after the "t".patoche34 said:

Russia and Sweden can´t - by the Swedish kings own words! - win the war. It they choose to go down in flames, so be it. The Archduke has offered Russia some small compensation for the provinces. That offer is still up.

I wanna join no one at this moment, IF I JOIN u got a lot probs, Brandenburg must fight vs russia and sweden, so they cannot help u, and 1vs1 u got not a chance.
I want only my old provinces back, like Alsace, Baden, Schwyz and Lombardia. AND it is the best moment to trade about it with you!!

Your old provinces? Alsace, I can understand.
But Baden, Schwyz and Lombardia? According to the save from 1667, France has no claims (shields) on those provinces. The Archduke advisors tells him that France also never has own those provinces. Maybe the French king has been wrongly informed by his advisors. It can happen.
Or has the French king been fooled by Swedish and Russian agents?
The French king speaks about trade. The Archduke suggests that the French king shall make his further statements regarding this matter directly to the Archduke (ICQ or PM, I not sure I can answer it right away with Easter coming up!).
At last, the Archduke offers the king of France a friendly advice. There are some countries that supports Austrias cause. And there is some countries that have a thing or two unsettled with France. France should watch her steps carefully.
While we appriciate the french openess on the matter, it would be a mistake to assume we couldnt handle a french dow. We have the manpower to handle such a threat and could probably still achieve a victory. Perhaps even a win.
@Austria: I´m in very safety position at moment, noone can dow me. Spain and Netherland are friends, Sweden and russia marriage, Englands position dunno, OE to far away.

I got the better position, so why I don´t try to trade with u bout the provinces? I don´t want to go to war, I try on political ways to finish the problem.

If the French king things that Austria will trade away FOUR provinces in central Europa, he must be mad (or his advisors).* The mere suggestion is a insult! However, the Archduke appreciates the French kings openness and is willing to at least discuss the current situation with him. That discussion will have to wait, as the Archduke is going away over the Eastern.
Next session is not until April 4 - right?
*Is the French king aware of that he cant demand more than three of the mentioned provinces in a war (no core on either of them, as far as I know)?
