Childhood traits feel out of place

Is this how its supposed to be? A bunch of affectionate 60 year olds?

Feel like those traits should be gone upon becoming an adult, either by removing it and granting the trait's bonus as basestat or during adolescence by guaranteeing the corresponding trait event during childhood. Afaik its a chance right now.
Either way reading the trait's description "This child is kind and is quick to show love and affection" feels out of place on adults and clutters the traitview.

Yes and yes.
I do run a modified succession.txt, but I doubt that it has an effect on it. (Elective succession only available at empire tier.)

Probably not, but you should maybe check a game without it just in case. Otherwise I'd say post a save game in the Bug forum.

No, it's not WAD. I've been looking through a few late-game savegames and not found a situation like yours, this leads me to believe that your specific setup might affect this somehow (active DLC's, modified files, etc). Could you provide me with more specific info about your setup? Feel free to create a new thread in the bug report forums and post the info there (that's where I look most often).
