Childhood sweetheart died or had something happening to her. Can't get married now (BUG)

As the title says, I had a grand wedding planned out with my childhood crush. Suddenly, I got a notification that something must've happened to her, I can't exactly remember what. So now, I'm stuck in this weird loop where I can't get married because no female characters are available to marry me.

The chick that was promised to me is also not appearing on my character's memories either, go figure.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ironman? Me think you are up the creek without a paddle. Grand weddings are still bug infested and the safest bet is not to promise them unless both are adults and you have the money to arrange it right away, IMO. Not that this advice helps in your current situation, say sorry.

Damn! It seems like Paradox can't do anything right these days. I guess jokes are on us since we are their unpaid beta testers.

Oh well. I'll try to see if by letting enouph time go by the issue will fix itself. If not, well, I'll wait until my heir comes of age.
