Cheats On Mac (Steam)

Hello all!

I'm very new to the game, having randomly downloaded it on Steam for my Mac and have to say I've been loving it! Working my way through campaigns and scenarios as we speak.

For sandbox mode though, I'd love to be able to use the cheats for money just to have a play with it without worrying about money.

I'm not the biggest technical guy - not totally stupid though - so is there a simple way of getting extra money? I've heard it's to do with mods - anyone got a way of telling me how to do this as straight forwardly as possible?
