So, has anyone thought of chat rooms for us interested in Hoi4 to chat and talk about things?
I would love to sit and chat with people interested in the game about what they plan to do and such in a more direct way then forums.

I can see it now. This is how it would unfold.

Someone new to the series gets into a game of HoI IV, and plays Germany. He wins against France and then types in chat "B3at Fr@nce guys ". Then someone comes in and says "l0l u suck no0b, France is e@sy 2 beat". Then the first guy says "I know, but..." and then the second guy interrupts and says "k1ll urself u n0ob". Third guy enters chat and says "wtf is go1ng on", and the second guy says "f@gg0t" and leaves. The first guy says "I b3at France and this guy was being a d1ck to meh", and the third guy says "m8, Germany 1s easy", so the first guy says "Yeah I kn0w, but 1 am just excited to pl@y as Germany" and then the third guy goes on a lecture on how HoI IV was not an identical copy of some previous game in a nostalgia-enducing level, leaving the first guy perplexed about wtf is going on. Then a fourth guy comes in and says "Yeah, Hearts of Iron from 1957 was an amazing game, and now this game was dumbed down for people with IQ's lower than 5", and then addresses the first guy and calls him a f@gg0t for being a no0b kid playing a new game. Then some other person discusses Legend of Zelda or something. Then the first guy, tired, says "I just wanted to play a game as Germany and share what I did to France, no need to get bitchy about it" and then a sixth person comes in and says "m8, u suk, k1ll urself, I w0rld c0nquested @s B0livia 0n my f1rst try without reading the 1nstructions". Then a seventh guy comes in, seemingly nice, congratulating the first guy, but then proceeds on controversial commentary specifically in response to the first guy playing as Germany, causing a stream of several other people to proceed in favour of said controversial rhetoric, in further consequence causing some idiot sjw to fail at bringing civility into the chat. The first guy then says "You guys are fucking morons, I'm getting back to my game" and then closes the chat, never to read it again.

At least that was how it was like in Wargame.
