Characters cheat far too often and "Seduce" is either pointless or badly implemented.

Absolutely. When I refer to adultery being non-existent I am of course am referring to my wives and their children being legitimate. I care about whether or not my wives secretly had bastards that I simply couldn't detect and if my rulers were all "of my blood." I believe "wives cheating and having secret bastards" is the big thing that people are upset about and it would be the most important statistic to take from this run. Once I marry some relative off somewhere then I have no idea what the freaky geeky AI does from there but I can control my main line (pending your investigation of course).

Alright, there really seems to be a lot less adultery going on in this run than I am used to. I will continue to think about why that is.

Also: Since you seem to have divine blood, there is an immediate way to detect bastards: All your legitimate children should have it, so if some of your children don't for some reason, then they are not actually your children. I think this should be considered a bug though, because divine blood is not *actually* supposed to be genetic.

I'll take that to mean that I am the father!!!

I know this is a sensitive topic (69 total disagrees on my posts alone) but I was only seeking to defend the honor of my dynasty and the wives that helped create it. Thank you very much everyone and I wish you the same good fortune with your wives. I'm now at peace.

divine_blood is added in event major_decisions.0101, it checks father and mother only, not real_father

I will say that in the CK3 games I've played (several patches ago), my characters' wives rarely cheat, or at least I rarely catch them doing so. Far more common is that either my character's daughters fornicate when I do not marry them fast enough after they turn sixteen or become widows, or they commit adultery while abroad and are imprisoned/executed by their husband.

Your religion having adultery as Shunned or Criminal should have much more serious implications, is my take. Several people have brought up the Tour de Nesle affair, where the women actually got off easy compared to their lovers. Ironically, in CK3 it is impossible to punish a cheating woman's lover in any direct way.

Certain AI characters seem to cheat a lot as well. Saga Hvitserk recently cucked me(as my soulmate) with her father and three of her brothers. My entire Yngling dynasty is probably actually Hvitserk half-breeds(actually I know that all four of my sons are, since I seduced a bunch of quick females and married those bastard daughters off to the sons without the related penalty)
