I have played a campaign of CK2 as muslim and we all know that decadence at a certain point rears its head. No problem with that and it is something different. However, what I get annoyed with and what costs so much piety that a certain point you can not control it anymore is that some characters accept your request to stop being decadent, but literally 5 days of in-game later they are decadent again - clean up - and voila a few days later again the same problem.
I would find it an improvement if the characters would get a modifer, say for instance "trying hard", "promised to clean up" what have you. This modifier would be like the modifier of Way of Life, e.g. "character had a good time", "invited to caroussing", that makes it impossible for the character to become decadent for 3 years or so? Enough to at least gain some piety back to start the process anew of trying to keep them on the right path.
