Character-jumping at lossing territories

In a long play with Galicia, I tried to invade England. I was winning (reached 80% warscore and he didn't surrender) when moors invade all my country and I losed all of it. Assuming they don't inherit your lands : you lose. If they do inherit the lands: you carry on.

Yes they are related and a very powerful dynasty to play. You can still lose if you fail miserably against the muslims.
