Character edit rights (Vista)

Hey, I'm trying to get these files edited / updated in the characters folder on a Vista machine. It's a new-ish laptop and I need some help - it's telling me I don't have Administrator permissions to make the save. I've tried logging off and back on and simply don't have the option. I wasn't able to open the browse folders as Administrator either.

What should I do here? Any help is appreciated!

Well, you have to log in as the Vista administrator, as it quite clearly says. If you can't work out how to do that or don't remember the admin login and password, well, we can't really help you. Maybe try an MS support forum.

Note: You must have a password on your administrator account for it to fully work. Another of Vista's fun ( ) quirks. It took me a few days to figure this out when I first got vista.

Turn off UAC and see if it helps.
