Newb modding question - how can I change ownership of provinces in a savegame file?
Spain was allied to Germany and got annexed by France. After Vichy event fired all the spanish provinces remained French. I've now recaptured all of spain, but as the provs are now French national territory I can't set up Spain as a puppet (I can't annex France outright as I dont control all her VP provs).
Basically, I want to edit the savegame so that I can fully take over all the spanish provinces. Then I can liberate Spain and get her back in the war. I've searched around for how to do this, but can't find the answer. Any pointers?
