I've changed the start date on the WIF, when playing Germany, to 1933 (which is the historical year that Hitler came to power). However, I have a problem which is not isolated to World in Flames.
When starting the scenario, the year is 1933. After about 4 hours (on 1 January, 1933), there is an event in which a scientist defects to Germany. Immediately, the year changes from 1933 to 1935. I've looked all over for this event (wishing to delete it), but cannot find it. I've also used the scenario editor, to no avail. I DO use the No Time Limit mod.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem is?
