First and foremost I am really glad that this subforum exists, as it gives me some hope that some strange issues might actually be fixed now.
But, to get to the topic at hand, the geographical map of the Balkans, Hungary and Romania.
The provinces are, to be honest, quite horrid, however you can't really make them any better with the current geographical appearance of the area.
Why?
Because we have quite a few rivers and mountains in places where they shouldn't be.
First and foremost, the Danube.
Here, in blue, I have marked the Danube:

This is not quite close to its actual shape in real life. To some extent, it can be tolerated, until you get into Hungary, at which point it goes up the flow of the Drava:

Then, we have the Carpathians.
Here, in red, I have marked the entirety of the Carpathians.

As you can see, they are split. This is because the Carpathians north of the Danube are located too far north-east, and should be moved south-west.

Finally, we have the Prut and Dniestr.
I have marked the Dniestr ingame with red here:

This Dniestr more closely follows the flow of the Prut river, a tributary of the Danube, than it follows the flow of the actual Dniestr.

I hope that Paradox takes this into consideration so that, even if they don't make a province overhaul, we who are not adept map modders can make our own provinces in a way which makes sense.
