Changing the date back to 1820

I downloaded the mod "Shattered Europe" which beyond my knowledge extended the end date to 9999. I also didn't know that the end date extended to every session that was saved after installing the mod. So now a good portion of my sessions are never ending and that pisses me off for obvious reasons. I tried to find a mod that would fix an incident like this, but I came up empty.

The question is simple, how do I change it back?

check in the main folder of the game, the file define.lua

open it with bloc note or anything. there should be a line written " end date = 9.9.9999 " something along this, swap this to the original 1820 or whatever you want.

In case it doesn't affect existing saves (not sure), you can just resign at the correct point in time. You get the same end screen.

Why not just stop playing at 1820?
