Hi,
I have all CK2 DLCs besides Conclave.
I want to change succession law in big empire. It requires that all vassals have positive opinion of me. It is impossible. So I was thinking about such a gamey move:
1. Give king title to infidel prisoned vassal.
2. Transfer all unhappy vassals to him (which should make this prisoned vassal happy again).
3. Because now all my direct vassals are happy, change succession law.
4. Revoke all titles from prisoned vassal (he can't refuse because he is in prison, it will not involve tyranny, because he is infidel).
Can anyone confirm if such a strategy could work?
Best regards,

Best regards,
Only if you have an empire that contains only one kingdom. You cannot transfer duke-level vassals to kingdoms that are not their de jure liege. Could work on a smaller scale though.

I think you could.

BTW, it may be that it's enough to make all your de jure vassals happy rather than every single count+ in your realm. I'm not sure which it is.

Can I give all kings titles to one vassal and then all duke vassals will be considered his de jure vassals?
It sounds like a bit of a hassle, but I suppose it's possible.

OK. So what about such a modification to the plan:
1. Search realm for Jewish courtier with lowest Intrigue.
2. Give him multiple kings titles and transfer all unhappy vassals to him.
3. Change succession law.
4. Because I gave him so many titles, he will love me and fortunately will not rebel against me.
5. Because of religion he will probably not find a wife (Intrigue bonus) and have a heir (I as a liege will be his heir).
6. Assassinate Jew. He has low Intrigue and everyone hates foreign religion and culture, so it should go pretty quickly and titles will go back to me.

Will it work?

Are there any other, proven gamey moves to change succession law with multiple unhappy vassals?

That should probably work, although assassinations can be unreliable. I remember having to once wait many years for an assassiantion of a Jew to produce results, despite having well over 200% plot power.
