changing strategic threshold

Need a little help, what exactly does this mean:

strat_redeploy_threshold = 25
max_redeploying = 0.2500

25... 25 kilometers? 25 provinces? 25 Divisions?
0.25... percentage of units in redeploy?

I hate seeing the Soviets get clobbered just because of this so I want to change the savegame.

strat_redeploy_threshold = 25 means that the ai will not strategic redeploy troops if they can march to desired location in 25 days or less

max_redeploying = 0.2500 is as you say the maximal percentage of forces the ai is allowed to strategic redeploy at the same time

there is an ai_tekst doc. in the ai folder that explains most of the commands in ai files.

Hmmmm...

Would this solve the problem of the SU AI keeping so many of its troops in redeploy should I change the threshold?

May make for a slightly more challenging Eastern Front.
