Changing resolution in doomsday?

Hi!

How can i change the resolution in doomsday to say 1280*1024? I downloaded a little tweak-proggy that does it for u for the the standard hoi2 but sadly it makes doomsday crash!!! The standard low resolution is just awfull to look at....someone please help me!!! (If possible!)

You need to open load_1024.bmp if the gfx folder with an image tool like ifranview, and resize it to 1280x960, then save it as load_1280.bmp, you can also resize the original too 800x600 and save it as load_800.bmp if you want to use that resolution.


edit: The tool itself still works fine.

I just used the command line version of the tool to play in widescreen and it works just fine. I suspect this is a case of RTFM. Just read the instructions and manually modify the files needed.

For the love of god...I can´t find this tool, and I have just installed my flat screen.

And can someone please, pretty please with sugar on top, please explain to me where to find this tool, and then explain as you would to a five year old monkey how to use it?

It was indeed a case of RTFM! I bow my head in shame. Thanks for helping me out ppl. oh and sorry for posting in wrong forum! :wacko:
