Has anyone figured out how to change a provinces resource? Sulfur seems to be in chronic short supply, even with 1.03. It is especially odd to me that there is only one sulfur producing province in all of Germany. This has always been a problem in every game i have played as Prussia.

Does anyone happen to know of areas that would be realistic within Germany/Poland to change from orchard/coal/grain -> to sulfur? I may make changes elsewhere on the map, the Union is epecially hampered by this in the US Civil War.

Before you can edit that file, you'll need to know the number of the province, which you can get by taking the name and looking in /Victoria/config/province_names.csv

Then go into province.csv and edit the resource.

Thank you for the information, changing Breslau to sulphur and Leignitz to iron did wonders for the Prussian economy. I am strongly of the opinion that in early industrialization nascent industies would have developed based upon the necessary goods being available to do so. The national economies as a whole need tinkering, there should be some degrees of scaricity.

Using Prussia as an example the current set up is not good there is far too insufficient ammunition for the other factories (small arms, explosives). I would suggest that in your work on the UMP mod the economies be set up so that there are sufficient other factories to support current national manufacturing base. Raw material shortages are acceptable (with the exception of the sulphur issue), but to have an intial industrial base were there are chronic shortages of the required goods for manufacture does not make a sense a nation would not develop it's industry in such a fashion.
