Changing province name

Hey, I'd like to know how to change a province name since "Congress Poland" .. implies a semi-independent state.

Would I just have to change the name in the province id list or would I have to consider some other variables as well?

You can do it in the savefile (for this game) or in the config files (permanently). One way or another you just need to search the name and replace it.
