This question has probably been asked before. But I ran some searches and couldn't find it.

Anyways, let's say I want to bring Byzantium back to its former glory. And I succeed. Who will be the monarch? Who will be the new army leaders? Will the last emperor of Byzantium be the ruler for 400 years? How was this problem adressed?

There have been fictional monarchs put in till the end of the game...not so for leaders, though, or 'historical' events.

But, I'm sure this will be remedied soon ;)
