Changing dynasty names.

Hey all

I'm having a bit trouble at the moment. I started of as the Sheikh of Yazd and now I'm the Shah of Persia all still within the Caliph's Empire and I changed my dynasty name and the name of my primary title as I don't like to see my dynasty name on the map.

So my question is this: would changing any of these disable you from getting Achievements?

As I was able to sit on the Caliph's council and receive a favor from my liege and each of the other council members I should have unlocked Shadow Council. But, I didn't.

Any ideas?

If you changed it in game it shouldn't be a problem
Maybe double check that everyone one owns you a favor and if that doesn't work there's a special thread in the bug fix thread for buged achievements

Yup I did. I always play in Ironman. The only time when I don't is when my internet is down and I still want to play a game of CK.

Yeah I did that. When I hover over their portrait they all said they owe me a favour. The Caliph and his councillors.

If I recall correctly, the shadow prince achievement is bugged and isn't awarded when the conditions are met.

If you want to not have your name on the map, you can always change your culture.

Well I guess it doesn't always work then. Cause i tried this three times on three different lieges in the Arabian Empire before I became independent and it did not work. Yes before anyone says it, I checked everyone and it all said that they owe me a favour.
