Changing Division and Brigade Spawn names

Is it possible to change the name of a division BEFORE it spawns? For example, if you build an Infantry Division as Germany, it could be called '1. Infanterie-Division'. Is it possible to change that in the files? Also, is it possible to do the same for the brigades of that division?

If you open C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron 3\tfh\common\countries\Germany.txt, you will see the list of prescribed names for the various divisions you form, and you can edit those names as you see fit. There may be a similar file for names of individual brigades, but I'm not aware of its location.

If you dislike the name of a division under construction in the production queue, all I can advise is that you save the game, open the save file, search for the line that begins with human=, and then scroll down to the military_construction= section, or just search for the line that contains the name you dislike (such as name="19. Volksgrenadier Division") and change it there. You can also change the name of individual brigades that are under construction, either as stand-alone brigades or as components of divisions that are under construction.
