You are seeing this notice because pending changes to our infraction system may effect you. These changes may result in you being banned for up to 48 hours when they get implemented.
While an official admin or moderator will need to explain, it sounds like they are lowing the ban autolimit.
example:
today, you get autobanned if you have 12 badboy points
tomorrow, you'll get autobanned if you have 10 badboy points
you have 11

Come on though. I was literally just banned a couple days ago. That's kind of unfair, 5 of those points are from less than a week ago.
Since we wont discuss anyone's infractions in public, I won't comment on your specific case here. Check your PM from me.
That was a very old message from when we changed how the points worked by adding more tiers, The message was just to warn a very few people that it was a remote possibility.
In the end I do not think it ended up effecting anyone, and at any rate, if you have signed into your account in the last 12 moths it will definitely not effect you.
