Priveeters seem to give twice as much PP that in 1.6 and the cap per nation seems to be 20 PP.
Conquering provinces from rivals seems to give much less PP now.

This is a good thread. We should document all of the changes here. What's the over-under on the number of undocumented changes? Once I know them if this thread hasn't fallen so far I've forgotten about it I might edit this post with a "patch 1.7 undocumented change log".

Maybe I'll throw in the ones where patch 1.7 is inaccurate too, especially if there are as many things as in 1.6.

Anyone know what the requirements are? I'm playing as an absolute monarchy at the moment and I don't see anything about it. Don't have the dlc but running the patch.

More of an oversight than a change: starting historical truces, such as Granada/Castile, are still just 5 years.
That particular one is not an oversight; a cursory poke around on the internet suggests that the last significant Castilian-Granadan border change before the grand campaign start appears to have been the Castilian acquisition of Huéscar in 1434 - ten years before game start. That truce exists to make Granada theoretically playable, not to represent a specific post-war truce.

If you have more then 9 provinces it wont show up.

Should show up in the decisions:

- No Subject
- peace
- 1 stab
- no heir or heir with <50 claim
- 20% income is tax (noble rep.) / 40% income is trade (merchant rep.)
- complete aristocratic/influence ideas (noble rep.) /trade+economic ideas (merchant rep.)

After taking a quick look at the the defines..
(It's late, I might have missed some of these in the patch notes, correct me if I did.)

'Diplomat speed' is now 20 (up from 10)
'Merchant speed' is now 20 (up from 10)
The ai is less willing to go over forcelimit, 10 (up from 5) (might be under " Improvements to recruit AI.")

Poland can no longer join the HRE at all. Not sure why, it says "Too Large" with only one pronvince left. Also the treshhold for foreign cultures to join seems to be at 15 basetax now?

Perhaps they count vassals as your territory now. Still a big undocumented change.

It's likely still 20, but I'd have to check. Poland apparently has a reworked tradition now, where its religious unity got changed to accepted culture modifiers.
