I would like to have a feature where you can change the style of an intersection. Much like the upgrade icon for roads you could click on an intersection and choose from several designs: slip lanes, dual turn lanes etc.. What do you guys think?

Changing the turn lane arrows would be a nice feature. In was annoying in CIM2 if you had a junction where most traffic turned right but only had one lane. No matter how many lanes the road had, you only got one turn lane, causing huge traffic jams. It was also annoying when a minor rarely used road got a dedicated turn lane when it would be better for that lane to be used by straight ahead traffic too.

I know this is old but it would be nice if maybe when traffic got congested, the section could flash a message about upgrading with possible solutions.
Like:
"Citizens are complaining about traffic congestion!"
>Add more lanes
>Change traffic light timer
>Add dedicated (Left) lane
>Add dedicated (Right) lane

I noticed upgrading roads and intersections are hard in some areas where development has already occurred. For this reason I think CO should create a collector or arterial road icon that has large boulevards on each side of the road , with or without sidewalks trees or street lamps. If you have to expand the road or intersection it won't interfere with development. That road icon is represented or own by city to be expropriated when needed for road exspantion.

Do connected roads automatically create intersections to both sides of the road? That was always a limitation in SC and CXL. You couldn't connect just one side of an avenue or road like in real life.
