So, basically Doctrines like Great Harvest, Battlefield Autopsies or Wasteland Scavengers do give recources based on the tier of the slain enemy. It does not factor in the actual power of an army you faced.
That means that modded T1 units, which are generally stronger than unmodded T2 ones, do yield less reward, even though they actually cost more to be produced.
My suggestion is to change the 'tier' to be based on army power, each 100 would be equivalent to the old tiers. This would make it more profitable to kill lower tiers when modded, but would reduce the average income from higher tiers (because T2 and T3 tend to have not 200 or 300 army power respectively on average as 'creeps').
As an example Battlefield Autopsy currenty does give 4 science per tier (heroes and lords are counted as tier 4). Changed to army power would be a 0.04 science per army power, rounded up.
So, a 140 army power unit would then yield 5,6 science, rounded up to 6.
