We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
They always announce in the forum when they send a newsletter, if nothing was said and none received it, it's pretty obvious for some reason it was delayed/cancelled 
One possible reason the newslatter may reside in the Spam folder is the adress it's sent from. The August newsletter is obviously sent through a thirdparty service, from the header it's mta117.anpdm.com as mail source. Unsubscribe link goes to anpdm.com as well. If whitelisting paradox doesn't help, you may try to whitelist this thirdparty website.
If it was filtered, it was filtered on the mail provider level. I regularly check my spam folder, and checked again when this came up, and I definitely did not get any newsletters after July.
I fear it has to do with the wording of the article about the "release" of Sword of the Stars II...

i´ve got the Newsletter twice with two Activation Codes for SotS I
Keep one for me, I haven't gotten it yet. But I usually get the newsletter hours late. And then it gets classified as spam, because of the time difference, HTML, and image-heavy layout
