Chances for a small hotfix for the Holidays

Hi Everyone, I would like to know if it is possible to at least have a small hotfix/patch that addresses two game breaking issues for people. I am not looking for a giant patch. Just two fixes for the SuperStack issue on the Channel Islands (fix is already available) and the fix for the MP and reinforcement issue. bug #026 I believe. At least fixing these two game breaking items could make everyones Holiday far more enjoyable with HOI 3. We can wait for 1.4 but these fixes would certainly make me and many others very happy I think.

The superstack issue is easily resolved on your own.

Go to the map folder, open up adjacencies.csv

If you use notepad++ go to line 21, channel islands - cherbourg.

Delete it.

Start up HOI3 as usual, the game will take awhile to load as it is recompiling the map.

Voila, there is no straight between the channel islands and cherbourg, the AI doesn't build up insane forces there.

Personally, my patience is starting running low. I really wanna hear some official news about 1.4. ETA, issues adressed etc....

Johan did this once a week for 1.3 at a certain time and it would be very welcome if he would do it again.

This is also news! Thank you for that. Not the news I was hoping for. But at least it is news. Perhaps you should trade in the non-typing secretary for a coding one

Sorry to hear that and I hope you get well soon. I am sure Paradox will do everything possible to make this great game perfect. At the moment they have all the bugs we have reported and the several flaws of the game exposed in detail. In due time they will patch it and we will enjoy what I consider a masterpiece of PC strategy games.
