Given my current two configurations have been unbeaten by anything other than these two configs in the last 30 some games I've played, I thought I'd take to the forums and offer a challenge for anyone who'd like to take me on.

Double credit if you want to take me on with LRMs, sensor lock, scouting, etc.

Because so far as I predicted the view ranges are insanely easy to exploit combined with SRMs being OP and am essentially wrecking everything. I've lost like 1 mech in a dozen games. It's not bragging, really, just disappointment I was so 100% right with how this ultimately plays out with the LOS being so short: Scouting is useless, sniping is useless. Only brawling packs are good.

Anyway, if you think I'm wrong and would like to show how scouting / range combat is viable with the tiny LOS, drop a message here and we'll work out a time.

4x Kintaro with max armor and SRMs
and
3x Catapult K2 4 Flamer AC20 + 1 Firestarter 5 Flamer

Scouts die. Flankers die. Assaults really really die. You can't see them coming because of the pilots being blind (even if you see them as blips you can't exactly post up and rain long range fire on them), it's like playing in fog. Plus all these weapons are OP as hell.

The combination basically has made this completely and utterly unbeatable. As I predicted back in beta, unfortunately.

ED: The Kintaro one is much more reliable and easy to use, but the Flamer config is the only thing that has a chance of beating the Kintaro config.

That sounds cool, Kintaros are good. What about stock? Have a good configuration for stock?

Depending on the map, I and quite a few others have beaten configurations like that with 4 stock Panthers or 4 stock Vindicators. Customization only turns it further in the "Kiter's" favor and turns it into a victory for the "Kiter" on every map (use custom Shadowhawks instead of Panthers or Vindicators). I really do not like those games, though, because they take forever and are incredibly frustrating for the one with 4 short range 'Mechs.
