So i noticed that there are two Cesare Borgia in 1502:

Siena and Acona. They are the same people are they not? Should not they be owned by either or? I mean Its kinda a silly oversight to have them be separate
counties ruled by the same person, but here they are two separate people....

Well... Four, actually. Venice also gets him as a general.

It is interesting that he's slightly better (siege rating) fighting for the Pope. And he's much better running Urbino than Siena.

While the Venice incarnation is completely indefensible, I suspect they don't perceive the appearance of Borgia clones to be particularly likely or problematic. The issue has been around since EU2.

I must admit that my curiosity of Cesare didn't begin until after "the Borgias" with Jeremy Irons. But after re-reading the prince, and doing some amazing wikipedia research he started to seem very interesting.
I wish they would focus a bit more on "famous" historical characters

Alexander VI was a diplomatic genius who turned into an idiot with no sense of proportion whenever his children were involved. Cesare was a capable general and administrator whose dad thought he should be Alexander to his Philip of Macedon.

The Prince is about the only source that makes him look good and is basically a CV, so it was probably shilling him. Its possible that only Machiavelli could appreciate his genius and the other sources and probably equally politically motivated in their dislike for Cesare but you should read those other sources.

The rulers of Siena and Urbino went to exile. Cesare's rule was only a temporary occupation which ended rather soon. In both cases the original rulers returned once the political situation allowed it. Portraying the situation as a military occupation would probably be more correct.

I think we have enough Cesares at the moment. However it is worth mentioning Women in History added Lucrezia as a level 2 statesman for the Papal States.
