this has probably been asked before but i find it so annoying that i have to ask.
I was playing as france and i was at war with the HRE. I win the war and i take some HRe provinces that border me. I forgot to remove them from the empire and they aren't cores. Then the Emperor ask me to cede them to him, i say no. and this is what annoys me: i get a stability hit.
Is it meant to be like that? it makes sense if i'm a member but i'm not. I mean, I was AT WAR with the emperor a minute ago and my people and nobility (and what else stability is supposed to represent) gets upset that i don't want to cede the provinces i won back to him?
