An annexation is needed after the unit in question has finished building, so one can assume it will not work in Armageddon where this has been disabled.
ahh the good old annexation thing that fixes all. :) I think it was not intended by Paradox that those commands should be used at all. I will leave the strings in anyways they do no harm being in there.

Well, I'm currently playing as Germany and used a limited wolfpack strategy...when I loaded the save as the UK to see how I was doing I did notice that:
A) They still had plenty of convoys and escorts
B) They had lots of 4 unit serials of convoys in the que (so many in fact that they had over 700 IC allocated to production after I had dropped them to about 40 IC)
Well that reveals a lott actually. The AI are using the max_batch_peace as stated in note. But it also uses unmoddified buildtimes 75 days, so it wont build more than 4 in serials, 5 would exceed the 360. It also reveals that the AI convoy building is still a completely mess.

I for one have added a serial build of 200 convoys and 100 escorts to UK's building que in the Inc file. Havent had time to actually test it if it works though. Another fix could be to increase UK's max_batch_peace to 700 or something. Perhaps do it by switch event when UK goes to war. So it dont alter anything during the build up years.

You should send that savegame to paradox with the above explanation xtfoster.

@Graf Blotenburg. I have corrected the Division Names in 1936, 1938 and 1939 campaigns as you mentioned. I quickly browsed through Desert Fox and Husky battle scenarios, i could't find anything wrong in those scenarios with regards to this. So these changes you have suggested will be in the next update. :)
Thank you very much for the good job you do on this project. It's very appreciated by me and all the rest of us.

I will come back to new problems in the files later on because Im too busy these days...

Grrr...
It turns out that while modifying toughness by event/tech works fine while the game is running, it causes a CtD when saving (resulting in an incomplete savefile). Extremely annoying bug...

:eek: Nasty. Well if there where no surprises, when messing around with not fully implemented & undocumented commands life would be to easy. ;)

Edit: have you tried this
Code:
command = { type = toughness when = on_upgrade which = infantry value = 1  }
or
command = { type = toughness when = now which = infantry value = 1  }

Using when = on_upgrade does not help.
It does read the when, at least, since when = tomorrow causes a CtD (with error message) already upon loading. Sometimes things like that are simply ignored (such as when one tries to use a where = relative in commands affecting manpower costs).

Ok, i havent tried those commands myself. But it was worth a shot.

If they worked as stated in the documentation (or at all) one could use them to create some nifty doctrinal divergence...

Yes i can only imagine what you would be able to conjure up ;) The thing about the documentation though, are that a lott of the info havent been updated since HOI1. Can be very frustrating sometimes.

For what it's worth, the mod seems to be quite nicely Mac-compatible. Which is always great. :)

Thanls!
Good to hear. Unfortunately no one would believe me if i said that was exactly how it was intended. :D

Haha, you will have your hands full for a long time Gormadoc. :)
Considering that my French language capabilities are roughly the same as the British agents in állo állo i will concede that point :D

Don't forget to tell me when you want the new version hosted.
Will do, i havent really changed much yet compared to 0.3 Most important fix is probably the removal of the dublicate POL tag in the 1936 scenario setup file. With two POL tags it was possible to select Poland after it was anneksed by Germany. Resulting in CTD on load though. Can only speculate on, if it has caused other instabilities in game.

No, are they wrong ?
Not as much wrong as awfully bad French.

Such as, from the top of my head, "Division d'Gendarmerie" instead of "Division de Gendarmerie" or "Armée de Tunésie" instead of "Armée de Tunisie". Or "Chasse de Nuit" for bomber wings ("Chasse" applies to fighters and interceptors).

Next version will hopefully include a complete overhaul of minister database.

As Usual if you have any corrections to mod or any suggestions for fixes to HOI2 plz post them here.

Are there any interest in a Doomsday version 1.3a version of this mod ?

Argh, I have forgotten to remove the leading "§W" from "Menü", "Karte", "Geheimdienst", "Technologie", "Diplomatie" and "Statistik".

You have messed up something in the EURONET/EN section of the text.csv.
