Are you going to integrate SMEP with CCIP officially?

The reworked SMEP 6.0 uses totally new event IDs for nearly all events in the games. For example, the vanilla Auschluss is slept and the SMEP version has different IDs... so theoretically SMEP will be compatible with almost all mods, particularly CCIP, but some things would have to be slept in either of the mods so as to not cause overlap/incompatibility. I'm very interested in it.

It would be nice to move one.
Ok will do so.

Nomonhan thx for posting the code. Makes my job easier. Which i prefer :)

As an aside, weren't you working on a Japanese Improvement Project? What happened to it? I remember being very interested in it... and it disappeared.
Not really sure the question was directed to me or Nomonhan. But my CDCP japanese corrections was to correct the unit names used for Japan to the historically correct names. I have included a Japanese unit names glossary txt file in the mod. Stores in the root folder of HOI2 Doomsday.

Japanese improvement project is off topic (not part of the scope of CDCP) and was directed at me. I will respond to Atruejedi in his thread.

I dislike bringing up problems without a ready solution, but here I go...

The tech picture for Semi-Modern SP Rocket Artillery is of plain ol' SP artillery.

I don't have enough of a frame of reference to know what would make for a more suitable pic, but I throw this out there in hopes someone else might.

Transfer of xilinhot event

On january 2, 1936, the event "transfer of xilinhot" happens to MAN and transfer one province to JAP.
With this event, there is a window explaining background.

Dont you think this window should be mirrored for JAP as the country receive a province?

I don't think that it's a good idea to do it for the Eastern Bloc states too, because most of them are puppets.

Maybe this is just irony or I am being fussy but, I was looking over the changelog.txt for CDCP and I noticed this word is misspelled on every occasion it is used. dublicate The correct usage would be duplicate :)

Not trying to BE fussy but, your project attempts to fix misspellings and typos in the game while you use one throughout your changelog.txt... heh

Other than that, good work!

Think you are correct, i have removed it from the election events in events where there only are "keep current" or one other outcome. That is all the communist puppets in Europa and a few others.

Kept it in multiple outcome democratic eventions to keep them from messing relations with puppet masters.

The adjective "Philippine" (one "L") is misspelled with a double "L"...well, pretty much everywhere--all the unit name files, the 1936 USA.inc file.

Ditto for "Filipino" (yes, one "L" and one "P" is correct).

AI tweak

In 1936 ai files for JAP and MAN, cavalry tech are ignored.

It's quite strange as both countries have cavalry 1918 and in other scenarios, they are either upgraded either country has better cavalry tech.

I would recommend to remove these techs from ingore list.
Question may be about semi-motorised cavalry because of oil consumption for MAN.

That is not a bug. Construction bonus is written a negative modifiers because they decrease production time and costs.

About tech 9140, in some AI files where it should be ignore, it is not because this tech is on the same line than " # Strategic air doctrines".

Number 9140 should be below.
That is also not a bug. Since the first tech increases mission effectivenes for all strategic bombing missions it's a good thing to research this tech. Even that you wont build strategic bombers.

Unsure about this, but i think adding cavalry to Japan slows down initial research into more needed techs for Jap AI. They where not on ignore in first version of the AI, but added later iirc. But i will look into this. You are correct on Manchuko, it falls flat on its face, if it gets fuel consuming units. It cant even handle armoured brigades.

@CSABadass i have noted it on the todo list :)

That's quite common actually, and it seems to be a designer choice. Almost no nation builds more cavalry units, so it's not worthwhile for them to continue to research that branch--especially countries with few slots like MAN.

If the units show up ugraded in later scenarios that's certainly an argument for a change, but there is at least the above reason to leave it be.

Myself, I'd make the change--too weird having this Great War cavalry units still riding around in, say, 1945.
