CD Key - How can I get it off the install disk?

Hi all,

I purchased a copy of EU3 Complete from Amazon and received it yesterday.
The copy I purchased only contained the CD-ROM (no manual) in the box. I want to register my copy but I don't know how (or where to look on the CD (if you even can) to get the key..

If its the complete edition there should have been a poster and a piece of paper advertising gamersgate and the code is on that piece of paper.

I can play the game no prob.... maybe if I purchase and D/L this new Heir to the Throne expansion I can use that key....

Well if you can't find the serial on the box or inside the box then you can feel cheated. You will certainly not find any serial number in the CD. And yeah I'd suggest buying HTTT since in a few weeks/months noone will even remember or want to go back to playing EU3 Complete

You can, but you won't be able to post in tech support etc, you need a registered full version for that.

yeah I looked on the CD.. all the .pdf manuals are there .. kinda figured the CDKey is encrypted. No biggie.. just wanted to register so I could get into
the support forums... no worries.. :wacko:

No, more than likely, he's just a victim of buying a used game that has a CD key that the old owner didn't include.

(documented)
